Larkhill Tipis and Yurts is based in Carmarthenshire, West Wales, twelve miles north of the town of Carmarthen and an hour and a half drive from Cardiff along the M4.

From the M4 and Carmarthen

When entering Carmarthen on the A48 (continuation of M4) follow the H signs for the Hospital. After the Hospital (on your left) take the next right (second exit on the mini roundabout) on to the A484 north for Cardigan. After the village of Cwmduad (approximately 11 miles) take the next left -signposted to the National Woollen Museum. Carry on for just over one mile and look out for the Larkhill Tipis and Yurts sign on your left. Turn right here and take the first fork to the left.

From the North and Aberystwyth

From Aberystwyth take the A487 south to Synod Inn. At Synod Inn take a left onto the A486 toward Llandysul. After 9 miles take the second exit at the roundabout staying on the A486. At the bottom of the hill at the next roundabout take the second exit, again staying on the A486. After two miles at the T junction take a left onto the A484. After the village of Rhos take the next right, signposted to the National Woollen Museum. Carry on for just over a mile and look out for the Larkhill Tipis and Yurts sign on your left. Turn right here and take the first fork to the left.

Public Transport

Really feel you're doing your bit for the environment by using public transport to get to us. The nearest train station and bus station is Carmarthen. A taxi from here costs approximately £30. If you do use a taxi ensure you give them our postcode of SA33 6AT.

To get to us by bus from the Bus Station in Carmarthen take the 460/461 heading to Cardigan. Get off the bus at the stop after Cwmduad (you'll need to tell the bus driver to stop at Ty Coch - pronounced Tee Koch!) which is at the first road junction on the left after Cwmduad – signposted to the National Woollen Museum. It is then a walk of just over a mile along the B road and you will see on your left hand side a sign for Larkhill Tipis and Yurts. Turn right here and follow the track down until you come to the wind generators. Turn left here. There is also a scheme brought in by the local council called Bwcabus (Book a Bus) which enables customers to 'book' a bus to collect you from the top of our track and take you to the nearest bus stop in order to travel further afield.
