If you have visited us before you will know that we endeavour to make our glamping site here in West Wales as interesting as possible. We are forever adding new bits and pieces, be it a new path, changing the appearance of our yurts, planting trees or shrubs. What we get most excited about though are our wood sculptures! We are fortunate enough to have made great friends with many of the guests who have contributed to making our glamping site really unique and a magical place to spend some time in. Many of our guests have left us wonderful reviews citing us as more than an “off the shelf-glamping site”. We of course hope you enjoy your yurt holiday or tipi holiday, but the woodland, its ecology and a growing array of sculptures are definitely very important to us and we take genuine pleasure when returning  guests spot new things added.

Recently our wonderful friend and very talented artist, Ian Manley, has stayed with us, bringing along with him his latest project… a 10ft Celtic Cross. It’s a stunning piece of art - intricately carved using many different techniques, beautifully painted and decorated and would not look out of place outside of Westminster Cathedral! And we are lucky enough to have this amazing creation in our woodland!!!

Creating new and interesting things to enjoy at Larkhill is something of a passion of ours which we long hope to continue. If you have an interest in creating something for Larkhill, or during a stay here, why not get in touch?

"This place is a hidden GEM...don't tell everyone or they may spoil it.

Magical surroundings, stunning art/wood carvings and super helpful, friendly owners.

The Yurt was spotless, comfortable and cosy. Facilities had absolutely everything we needed, and more.

We sat up late by a roaring fire charring and unwinding,

Will DEFINITELY BE VISITING AGAIN - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"

2We've been camping many times and we love the outside but I can honestly say this was the best place we have ever stayed at.

Everything was perfect (apart from the weather). Fran and Tony were fabulous hosts and their attention to detail is astounding. From the detailed map on how to get there, to the wet weather board everything was organised perfectly.

The walks through the forest were fantastic and our little boy loved spotting all the statues and carvings. The views from the fields were breathtaking and the whole place was just so tranquil. Just what we needed to refresh ourselves.

The yurt itself was very comfortable, my little boy is scared of the dark so the added bonus of solar paneled led lights around the roof of the yurt was very welcomed. Everything you could possibly need is supplied. All you need to take is food for your campfire, sleeping bags and towels.

On a final note, if you do go there you must try the fresh eggs for breakfast and take home a delicious jar of honey. Seriously it’s amazing!

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay Fran and Tony. We loved every minute of it."
