1. Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo (50 min drive from us) Online prices around £25 pp

One of the most popular attractions in Pembrokeshire, Folly Farm combines the charm of a traditional farm with the excitement of a zoo. Visitors can meet farm animals such as goats, pigs, and donkeys, while also discovering exotic creatures like giraffes, lions, and penguins. 2. Manor Wildlife Park (57 min drive from us) Online Adult around £25, Child £21

Known as Wales’ only walking safari, Manor Wildlife Park in Tenby offers a unique experience where visitors can get up close to animals in spacious, natural enclosures. Highlights include Sumatran tigers, wallabies, lemurs, and red pandas. The park focuses on conservation -  making it both entertaining and educating.

3. Welsh Wildlife Centre (35 min drive) Free entry

Located in Cilgerran, the Welsh Wildlife Centre is a haven for nature enthusiasts. Set within the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve, it’s home to otters, kingfishers and a wide variety of bird species. Families can enjoy walking trails, bird hides, and interactive exhibits that bring the local ecosystem to life. During the school holidays they often run bookable events for children such as pond dipping and bird box making. 

4. Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park (35 min drive) Prices around £5pp

This family-run farm park offers stunning views of Cardigan Bay and the chance to see seals basking on the rocks below. Alongside farm animals such as llamas, ponies, and goats, visitors can enjoy a coastal walk with opportunities to spot dolphins in the bay. Seals are often spotted here on almost a daily basis!

5. Dolphin and Wildlife Boat Trips (40 mins drive) Adult £20, Children £12

The waters off the coast of West Wales are famous for their resident bottlenose dolphins. Boat trips from New Quay or Cardigan Bay provide the chance to see dolphins, porpoises and seals in their natural habitat. These excursions are a must for anyone who loves marine life.
