You could visit the nearest - Cardigan Bay - which includes Mwnt Beach, voted the best beach in Wales 2025, Poppit Sands, Llangrannog and Tresaith with its stunning waterfall.  Or maybe the Carmarthenshire Coastline with famous beaches such as Pendine Sands or Tenby. But then of course there’s also the Pembrokeshire Coast where many Hollywood films are set on the long white sandy beaches.

• Wildlife: Embark on a boat trip to spot seals, dolphins, and seabirds from Newquay or St Davids. At The Wildlife Centre in Cardigan you can learn all about the river otters and maybe spot a kingfisher from one of their many hides. 

• Castles: From small ‘free to enter’ castles such as the nearest at Newcastle Emlyn or Llansteffan Castle where you can walk around the ruins at your leisure to impressive castles such as Pembroke, Carew and Carreg Cennan.

• Activities: Enjoy a range of outdoor pursuits, from cycling along scenic trails to kayaking in crystal-clear waters. Consider a visit to Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo for a fun-filled day out.

Kids can roam freely within a safe environment, engaging in imaginative play, building dens, and connecting with nature.

Our layout, which includes a communal firepit, encourages a sense of community, allowing children to make new friends. But if this isn’t for your children then that’s okay as each of our yurts have their own space and are set apart from each other, so it’s easy to escape into your own bubble. Forget structured activities, here it's all about unstructured play and enjoying the great outdoors. The open space allows for games, running, and simply being kids!

Nestled in the heart of west Wales, Larkhill Tipis offers a unique glamping experience. Here's what you can expect:

• Unique Accommodation: Each Tipi and Yurt has been hand made by us! Inspired by nomadic tribes throughout the world. We've furnished with them with comfortable beds, cozy blankets, and ambient lighting...a great place to rest after a day of exploring West Wales! You are welcome to bring your own bedding or we can provide this. 

• Communal Facilities: The site provides well-maintained communal facilities, including toilets, hot showers and a shared kitchen area. Each Yurt and Tipi also has its own cooking facilities too.

• Campfires: Gather around the campfire under the stars, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. Each of our Tipis and Yurts has its own campfire area, but we also have a communal undercover fire pit too. 

• Natural Surroundings: Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Welsh countryside, surrounded by rolling hills, meadows which we have restored to their natural habitat with long grasses, wild flowers and abundant wildlife.
